Terms and Conditions
By participating in Heppi Pottery activities, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Studio Experience
Our pottery painting sessions are self-guided, with instructional materials and support from our staff available as needed. We do not provide templates or pre-made designs, as the experience is intended to be personalised and creative.
To ensure optimal results and maintain quality, only studio-provided paints, pottery pieces, and glazes may be used.
Pottery designs are subject to availability. Advance reservations or guarantees for specific designs are not allowed. However, a selection of standard ceramic items, such as mugs, cups, plates, and seasonal designs, is available.
Participants are required to handle pottery pieces with care to prevent damage. Avoid holding unfired pottery by the handle, as handles are fragile and may break. Proper handling is essential to maintain the integrity of the pottery throughout the painting process.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
-
Cancellations and rescheduling are recommended to be made within 24 hours of the session
-
Cancellation by Heppi Pottery: In the rare event that Heppi Pottery needs to cancel a session, participants will be notified as early as possible. In such cases, the option to reschedule to a future session date will be provided.
Breakage Policy
Participants are responsible for any pottery broken, damaged, or cracked during their session and will be charged based on the retail value.
Pottery is fragile, and any impact during the session may result in hairline cracks that can lead to further damage or cracks in the final piece. Participants must inspect their pottery for pre-existing damage before starting and notify staff immediately if any defects are found to clarify responsibility upfront.
While we take all precautions to handle pottery with care, breakages may occur during the firing process, which involves temperatures exceeding 1,000 degrees Celsius. Cracks may arise from hairline fractures that are not visible to the eye, or that have been painted over and not noticed. These cracks may only appear after firing due to the pottery expanding and contracting in the kiln. Additional factors such as air bubbles or glaze repellence due to oil may also contribute to breakage, which is often beyond our control.
In the rare event of damage during firing, compensation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds will not be provided, as the session itself was completed. Heppi Pottery is not liable for any breakages that occur during the production process, but we will make every effort to preserve your pieces in their intended condition.
Finished Artworks and Collection Policy
Painted pottery will be glazed and kiln-fired for a professional finish. Pieces may shrink slightly, colours may vary, and black specks may appear due to the glaze. The collection time is typically 1-2 months from the session date, subject to the studio’s schedule. You will be notified via WhatsApp when your piece is ready for collection.
Participants must collect their pottery within 2 weeks of receiving a WhatsApp collection notice. Collection is available Tuesday to Sunday, 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Pottery unclaimed after 3 months will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of or sold at the studio's discretion. Heppi Pottery is not responsible for any loss or damage after this period.
Indemnity, Conduct, and Legal Terms
-
Indemnity and Liability: By participating, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heppi Pottery and its staff from any claims, costs (including legal fees), liabilities, or damages arising from your participation. We will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety, but participants are responsible for their own health and safety during the session.
-
Respectful Communication and Conduct: Respectful conduct towards staff and other participants is expected. Heppi Pottery reserves the right to refuse service to anyone displaying inappropriate or offensive behaviour to ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all.

Use of Photographs and Videos: By booking a session, participants consent to the use of photographs and/or videos of themselves and their creations for publicity and marketing purposes. Participants waive all rights, including intellectual property rights, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Defamation: Any false statements, whether spoken or written, that harm Heppi Pottery’s reputation may result in legal action under the Defamation Act (Cap. 75) of Singapore. This includes defamatory comments made online or on social media.
